You can stay in Central Jakarta if you want to be right in the city (big skyscrappers, malls, etc) but keep in mind of Jakarta traffic. If you want to be near the venue, you can look for somewhere in South Jakarta (we recommend Pondok Indah or Simatupang area). There are also a lot of food places in South Jakarta as well.
